May Peace be Upon You
note from PearL : Something that we all can do our bit!
Dear Supporters
The Pink Ribbon Application is now brought to you by The Breast Cancer Site! Since our founding in October 2000, we've become the leader in online activism for the breast cancer cause, empowering people around the world to fund free mammograms for women who could not otherwise afford them. And it costs you nothing!
With National Breast Cancer Awareness Month right around the corner, this partnership couldn't come at a more meaningful time. Although every month is important in the fight against breast cancer, October brings special opportunities to take action and band together with other survivors and supporters.
3 Ways To Fight Breast Cancer Today!
1. Click at The Breast Cancer Site. With a simple daily click of the pink button at The Breast Cancer Site, visitors help provide mammograms to those in need. It's free for you! Site sponsors pay for the mammograms, which are distributed through the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Visit The Breast Cancer Site now and click on the pink button daily!
2. Shop for the cause. If you're looking for a way to show your support in October and beyond, look no further than The Breast Cancer Site store. Not only is the collection of pink ribbon apparel, jewelry, and accessories unmatched in its size and variety, but every item purchased automatically generates a free donation to help fund a mammogram, too! Click here to find your perfect expression of pink ribbon pride.
3. Join the Million Fan March. You can get together with supporters from all over the world in a virtual walk to fight breast cancer on Facebook. When The Breast Cancer Site reaches one million Fans, we'll donate (through our nonprofit partner GreaterGood.org) $100,000 to breast cancer research! Don't delay: become a Fan of The Breast Cancer Site and start marching for a cure.
With these simple shows of support, together, we can make a real difference! Please share this information with your friends, family and coworkers. The more people who click, shop, and march for the cause, the more women we can help.
Thank you for making ordinary online actions extraordinary with Pink Ribbon Application and The Breast Cancer Site!
Sincerely,
The Breast Cancer Site

I've clicked the pink ribbon.
My dearest good fren was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. she underwent surgery, chemo therapy and radiotherapy. She was on tamoxifen initially but now just by injection only. I always pray for her to stay in the pink of health. InsyaAllah. Amin.
Both of us collected a few ribbons each time we came across them and one of them is the pink ribbon pin.
